ABRMHL History

Amesbury Sports Club has been running a successful programme for 46 years. We are proud not only of our successful sports programmes but are strong community involvement. The facts will support our assertion that ASC house league and select programme produces players and coaches that are able to compete at the A level. Our younger aged players have shown the desire and ability to play at the A level.

The Amesbury Sports Club hockey teams are known as the Amesbury Avalanche. ASC acknowledges that they will have to change the team name due to a conflict of names with another organization. If the ASC proposal is successful, ASC will be known as the Amesbury Attack.

The Grandravine Hockey Association was in the process of disbanding for the 2006-2007 season. Amesbury Sports Club assisted Grandravine Hockey association by amalgamating the two associations. This has made ASC a stronger Club and has shown that ASC is more that willing to assist their community and neighbours. This proves the ASC is involved not only in the Amesbury community but in the communities in the surrounding area.
