ABRMHL Mission Statement
Icing hockey teams is only part of what the AMESBURY/BERT ROBINSON MINOR HOCKEY LEAGUE is about.
Our intent has been to offer players the opportunity to raise their level of hockey while still being
involved in the community. It is with great pride that our players wear their jerseys
because they truly are representatives of their community. Our coaches in the house
league and select programme are from the community who share and foster our community
philosophy. There is always room for those who come from other communities to share
our community atmosphere and philosophy:
To develop skill and character. |
To involve the players, coaches and parents in community activities. |
To develop and improve individual and team skills. |
To ensure a high level of discipline both on and off the ice, following the ASC Code of Conduct. |
To encourage a strong work ethic and consistency of effort without taking the fun out of the game. |
To promote the principle of team play, good sportsmanship and companionship. |
To involve the parents in their child’s development by maintaining open lines of communication. |
This philosophy is the fibre of the whole organization from the directors
through to the coaches, time-keepers and players.
